KIMORI

1974年2月28日生まれ。

佐賀県出身、現在は滋賀県に在住。

• 高校卒業後、実業団「サイクルワールド」に就職、同チームに所属し、 2000年プロライダーとして活動するまでにクロスカントリーで 3度のチャンピオンに輝く。
• 2001年には、全日本、アジア、ナショナルポイント、シリーズチャンピオンの4冠に輝き日本人初快挙となる偉業を成し遂げる。
• また、同年世界選手権大会ではアジア人初の50位以内に入り、 2003年のUCIポイント（世界ランキング）でアジアNo1を確立。
• 2003年に右腕をメラノーマという癌に侵されるも見事克服。
• 2006年に、自身オリジナルブランド「Pro Ride」を主宰
• 以降、日本MTB協会公認普及員/公認指導員の資格、 日本MTB協会第18回公認インストラクター資格を取得
• 2008年現在もなお、日本のXCトップライダーとして活躍しておられます。

Takanori Yamaguchi

Born: February 28, 1974 (Shaga prefecture)
Currently residing in Nagano prefecture

• After highschool, joined the businessman "Cycle World" organization and cycling team. Won 3 cross-country championships, before becoming a professional rider in 2000.
• 2001: Became Japans first quadruple crown winner, winning the All Japan, Asia, National Point and Series Championships.
• In the same year (2001), became the first asian to rank in the top 50 World Championships. And in 2003, was ranked 1st in Asia according to the UCI point system.
• 2003: Overcame melanoma of the right arm.
• 2006: Started his own brand "Pro Ride".
• Since then, became a recognized associate, certified coach and certified instructor for the Japan Mountain Bike Association.
• 2008: Even today Takanori is an active XC top rider in Japan.
